- 1 lb. asparagus, ends trimmed
- olive oil
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- salt & pepper to taste
Pro-tip: Asparagus requires little or no prep: Wash the spears and trim the ends by breaking or chopping.
If you steam the spears for about 5min, I personally think they taste delicious with no added seasoning. Just pure asparagus goodness.
Or, you can roast (bake) them at 400°F for about 10min with just a drizzle of olive oil, salt & pepper.
